About this Issue:
Summer 2016 has had many milestones for Good Samaritan Clinic. In this newsletter we share with you about a previous patient who was truly thankful for the clinic during a desperate time in her life. She shares about her experience and how impressed she is with the quality of care she received, but also with our staff. ‘Evan’s Corner’ highlights the milestone of our 13th Birthday, which we celebrated on July 18th, and will continue to celebrate this summer. We have been truly blessed to have served the Arkansas River Valley for the past thirteen years.
The clinic has also brought on a new team member, Brittney Roper, as our Annual Giving Manager. Inside you will read about her ‘New Beginnings’ with the clinic. Furthermore, you’ll learn a little about her life, her personal mission, vision, and values as she embraces this new chapter in her life and a new beginning for the clinic.
While the clinic has had many things to celebrate this summer, we have also mourned the loss of an exceptional longtime volunteer, Leroy Fry. On page two of this issue we have paid a small tribute to Leroy, who had given us so much and will deeply be missed. For all Leroy has done for the clinic, it’s staff, and our patients there are no words to express our gratitude; just forevermore lingering of knowing a piece of the clinic’s heart is missing.
You can still help us celebrate 13 years!
We are still striving towards our goal of raising $13,000.00 for the clinic. We have raised funds through our Go Fund Me campaign, patients involvement, specified checks, and spare change collection jars around the community. You can still help us reach our goal by donating via any of the avenues mentioned above, through our donation page of this website, or by mailing a check to:
